Chemical Peels
(Chemexfoliation or Dermapeeling)

A chemical peel, also known as chemexfoliation or derma peeling, uses a chemical solution to improve the appearance of your skin. Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin and scars — usually on the face. They can be done alone or combined with other cosmetic procedures. Treatment can also be provided at varying skin depths, from light to deep. Superficial peels do not require much downtime and help with skin tone, texture and fine lines. Deeper chemical peels offer more-dramatic results and are used when more dramatic improvement of wrinkles and acne scars is preferred. Depending on the depth of a deep peel, a longer down time is to be expected.
